christmas gifts

Baby C didn’t receive many toys last Christmas.  I am quite happy with that.  Toys are bulky and big to bring back home in Europe.  And it would be a waste if we don’t bring it with us.  I’m glad I’m not faced with that predicament.  But I bought her several toys and books since we arrived here which I have yet to choose from; which to bring and which to leave behind. What she got were plenty of beautiful dresses anyway! Some of those she didn’t get to wear yet. 

mango float or not?

As I am working online right now, my thoughts are on the mango float I’m going to make later. We have a whip cream sitting in the ref for weeks already which needs to be used ASAP or else it will just spoil.  It would be a big waste coz it was expensive!  Now I’m wondering which is a better choice, let it spoil or buy more ingredients to make the mango float and eat all those calories. Oh well, I guess I’ll just go ahead and make it.  All the ingredients are there already and it’s been a long time since I last ate mango float.  Maybe it wouldn’t hurt my diet if I indulge a bit.  How about some Leptovox to slim me down? Heh!  I promise I’ll lessen my calorie intake in the coming days!

kid’s TV viewing habits

When watching her favorite show, Caity would always go near the TV.  We told her many times to stay far from the screen so her eyes won’t be affected by the radiation from the TV.  Apart from telling her, we also blocked the front of the tv stand with the ottoman chair to make an ample gap between the TV and the spot where Caity stays while watching the show.  I hope this simple teaching will be imprinted in her young mind so she’ll have perfect vision unlike us her parents who are wearing eyeglasses.

It’s a weekend, and what did the little girl do? Caity spent part of her morning watching Barney while eating banana and orange in her high chair. She just loves to eat fruits! (which is very good for her health).

Do you notice that she has only one sandal on? Hah! She took out the other pair and she has it in her hands. Clever kid!

tired me

I’m sooo tired today.  Even if the holidays are over, we’re still not done running errands (and shopping!).  We we’re out the whole day and came home already at night.  I badly want a massage!  It would be nice to have someone massage my back and legs while I comfortably sit on a home theater seating watching a romantic comedy; but all that is wishful thinking.  *sigh* The reality is, there’s no one to massage me, we don’t have a sophisticated theater seating and lastly, we also don’t have any DVDs to watch.  So what to do? SLEEP!  That’s the best solution for a tired me. 

hello kitty stuff

I like cute stuff like Hello Kitty. But I feel I’m old for it already. Good thing I have a little girl who’d make a good reason for me to shop Kitty dresses and accessories.  I hope I don’t turn her into BIG fan of this Sanrio character coz Hello Kitty stuff are sometimes pricey like the wood mounted Hello Kitty rubber stamp I found online.  I’m sure stamp makers who offers custom rubber stamps would charge less than the rubber stamp sold online.  But then it’s the Hello Kitty brand that customers are paying for.
