who wants to go walking?

Since the weekend we’ve been eating a lot with my friends.  If that wasn’t enough, I invited them for lunch at our lunch.  Since I know that we would be so full after that, I was thinking of inviting them for a walk around our neighborhood for a little exercise.  I was also thinking it would be a good way to make Caity fall asleep (with her riding in her stroller). Comfortable shoes are needed for such walk, just like those MBT shoes I saw online.  But anyway, my friends were too lazy for a walk.  All they wanted was to stay near the food! hehehe…  So there, we just stayed inside the house the whole time eating!  I guess I’ll take Caity out tomorrow to shed off the weight I gained today from all that pigging out.

yes to online storage

Having too many websites can eat up a big chunk of my hard disk space, that’s why I take advantage of those free online storage for my files.  That’s where I upload my blog photos, documents and other important online stuff. Aside from being secure from PC crash or virus attack, I can conveniently access my files anytime, anywhere as long as there is internet. If you haven’t got one yet, better try it.  It makes managing your online work easier.

condo update

My mom and sister has decided to schedule their trip (to take care of our condo’s furnishing, furnitures, appliances, etc.) to Manila to next month.  This condo is semi-furnished so we still need to buy other pieces of furnitures and appliances such as the center table in the living room, aircon, TV, DVD player, microwave, etc.  

From their experience last time with my brother’s condo, they already know where to look and buy furnitures that cost cheap.  It’s also best to check out wholesale electronics suppliers coz they usually offer good deals especially if you buy lots of appliances. 

With the limited time they have, I hope they’ll be able to accomplish their mission successfully!

friday road trip

Last Friday afternoon we were on the road for more than an hour.  What could have been a 40-minute trip took that long because of the heavy traffic.  Friday is the worst time to travel especially out of Prague coz most people are driving to their cottages and weekend houses outside the city to spend the weekend t here.

After getting stuck along the construction site that caused the slow flow of vehicles, we passed on many scenic and relaxing  views which at least lessened the nauseating feeling I had. Another interesting part of our trip was meeting along the way many vintage cars, aside from cross country movers.  They seem to have a gathering or a parade.  At one time, before us were two vintage cars that have plate numbers in succeeding order. Oh, we also got lost coz the GPS was leading us to a shortcut roads which looked like trails to the forest.

Anyway, when we got to our destination, all the troubles the trip gave us were forgotten.  We had fun there, most especially Caity, so it’s all worth it.

brighter days in summer

During summer we save a lot in our electrical bills because it doesn’t get dark until 8pm.  We usually turn on our lighting bulbs around 8 or 9 in the evening.  I like that we have brightness for a longer period coz I am also able to do many things unlike during winter when we only have few hours of brightness.  One time we even took a walk at 8 in the evening coz it was still like daytime.  We brought Caity to the playground and for 30 minutes, she played on the slide, on the sand and even rode the wooden animals.  But lately it’s been raining often which makes me lazy to go out.  Just yesterday it was windy and cold which makes me ask… “is it really summer already?“

furnishing our condo unit

My sister and mom will soon fly to Manila to take care of the furnishings of our condo unit.  After giving them idea on the theme and color I want the condo to have, it’s all up to them to look and buy the accessories needed to make the unit look good.  I am also browsing the internet for some ideas which I can show them. Coz its better to show in pictures the style I want than just describing it. The Naples Fl custom doors I saw online really looked elegant but for a small unit like ours, it would look inappropriate. But what are custom doors for?  They can make any size, big or small… right?  So I’m sure they can handle it.  Do take a look at some of their works:
