Usually at the start of the year, prices of services and goods also increase. For one, this year in CZ, the VAT has already rose from 19% to 20% for services and goods. 
I wouldn’t be surprised if the life insurance rates of insurance companies have also increased. Probably the only thing that hasn’t increased for the majority is the salary (hubby included).
Even so, the new year should bring hope for a better life and better opportunities. That’s what I am praying for. With a new addition to the family coming very soon, I sometimes get nervous thinking how it would affect our lives. I know it won’t be easy but I also know that if hubby and I will stick together and help one another, we can overcome all the challenges that we’ll meet along the way.
So yeah, we’re siding with the trend of each new year… increasing our tribe!
