I have already posted little A’s pictures in Facebook but I still have to post his other pics in my personal online photo sharing site coz it’s more accessible to everyone especially those who don’t have Facebook. But I might consider online printing so I can have hard copies of his pictures and place it in a photo album or send to family and friends. My parents for one like to have printed pictures rather than browsing the pictures from the PC.
There are many photo stores around here that offer photo printing but online services are more convenient for busy moms like me. Fortunately there online printing available for cheap prices.
Little A has so many pictures taken by his auntie A who has a DSLR camera. I’ve been looking his adorable pictures and just couldn’t help admiring my little one. :) I plan to choose those that captured his different, cute expressions and have it printed out. It is also nice to upload the pics in a digital frame and place it in our living room where everyone can see and admire his cute photos. But for now, I’m just gonna post few of them in my Facebook account. hehe… it has been quite awhile since I last posted pics of him. I’m sure his “fans” will be thrilled to see these new set of pictures.
I don’t want to leave you out so I’m sharing one here for you to see too.
“hullo baby!”
I have been looking for those promotional items I got from my husband’s company but can’t find it. I brought plenty of those to give away to relatives but with our things still in disarray even after more than a week since we arrived in the Philippines, I am at lost where to look for it. As far as I can remember, I placed it in the outside pocket of my luggage. But it’s not there. Maybe I should take all our things out from the bags and luggages and hopefully it will appear. Usually things that are lost usually appear when you’re not looking for it. That happened to me many times already. Maybe I should just forget about it for awhile and wait till it shows up.
I’ve been “ranting” about the innocent but too tiring muddles (to clean!) that have added to my busy days, done by my little girl. However, I have to keep reminding myself though, that these are part of growing for her, and it’s a challenge for a mom how to handle these. It’s just like an adventure to them, finding out how things work, and how they can manage the things that surround them, without thought (hehe as they haven’t yet awareness of the consequences!) of how these make life harder for their moms!
I wonder what’s up with dad’s project. I chatted with him last week and he was telling me that they were clearing the garden of some plants. It was actually my request coz I noticed that certain part being infested with mosquito. I hope that by taking away the bushy plants, it will discourage the mosquitoes to stay there.
I want to work on beautifying that garden when we come home next week. A well-manicured lawn is good for the kids. I can put an inflatable pool there and they can play all day long outside. At night, low voltage landscape lights can give a relaxing ambience. We can stay there while chatting with family. But huhhh, I really wish there won’t be any mosquitoes anymore to bother us. I just can’t wait to see how the garden looks now!
Another week! Ours started badly. We slept late last night with hubby coz they’ve been away for a day with the kids. When they got home we had to rush to the Mass, then stopped at the mall, got home late. After we put the kids in bed, we stayed up for few hours to talk and plan the rest remaining days before our trip. It was already 2am when we slept. So this morning, Caity woke up like 7:30am, she took her stuffed doggie with her and went out of the room. I was still sleepy, I even immediately fell back to sleep after she left. The next time I woke up, I panicked when I remembered that Caity walked out from the room. O-oh! Where can she be? I shouted “Caity, where are youuu?” As soon as hubby heard me, he immediately got up to check on Caity.
Too late! I could hear hubby’s very upset voice. I figured the little girl did something very serious. Yeahh… she poured all the contents of her sunblock into the sofa and was spreading it all over.
What a way to start the day.
I don’t know where she got it. Probably in one of the bags they brought for their trip which we didn’t get to keep away from her reach. Hayyyyy! Now I have to check our things especially lotions, tablets, etc. to be sure she can’t reach it.
sigh sigh… Moms out there, better learn from our mistake. Never leave these kinds of stuff lying around when you have babies or toddlers. You wouldn’t want them to waste your $400 perfume or your prenatal vitamins.
I am becoming paranoid now. I’m like checking on Caity every 5 minutes. waaaaaaaaaaaa
In a week we’ll be hitting the beach! I am more excited for hubby coz he loves the beaches. I on the other hand isn’t so crazy over it because of the sun. It will make my skin dark which I don’t like. And also I am not confident wearing swimsuit coz my tummy still hasn’t recovered from my recent pregnancy. Are there diets for quick weight loss that will give me a better body in a week? I have a simple solution to it though, I will just take a deep breath and hold my tummy in especially when parading in front of other people. And then when I’m in the water, I can breath out and they wouldn’t even know the real deal. How’s that huh? Smart eh?
This morning, Caity came up to me and showed me my lipgloss. Good thing it was already empty so I let her play with it. A few minutes later, she came back with a different lip gloss (the one which is still unused!) I panicked! Where did she get these stuff? She apparently found my cosmetic bag in our bedroom drawer. I have there my lipstick, mascara, acne treatment cream, etc. etc. things she shouldn’t be messing with!
Now while she’s away, I will have to find a different hiding place for my things. I don’t want her to create another trouble for me. Geeezzz! The writings on the wall she made the other day hasn’t been cleaned up yet. I don’t know if a pen eraser can work wonders. I hope soooo! Or else… I really don’t know what the landlord will say.
I have a many things to do these days. Foremost is to prepare our things for a long vacation. But my little girl isn’t helping me, in fact, she’s delaying my work, adding more work to the ALREADY long list of things to do! Yesterday I told her to go to bed and take a nap. I then went to the other room to feed her baby brother. The baby seems to like being messy and all. He keeps smiling and the food just spills out from his mouth. Sheeshhh! I have a messy baby to wash, on my way to get a new diaper I took a peek if the little girl has fallen asleep already. NO! She was playing with a ballpen, made herself a paper… fine I thought, I can just wash her. But when I saw the other damage she has done, I got so upset. The walls, stuffed turtle toy, pillows and bedsheet didn’t escape her restless hands.
So there, I had to fix what she made. Count how many work has been added because of that.
waaaaaaaaaaaaa Sometimes I spent all day long just fixing what damage the little girl has done. I can’t even get a little quite time to read sensa reviews or iron without disturbance or cook without worrying what she is doing while I’m busy doing my stuff. It’s really frustrating!!! Earlier she dumped her Dora sweater in the tub! So there, I am forced to wash it.
Another work!
The past days, it has been raining especially when we have plans to be out. Grrrrr! We have a week to go before flying for a long vacation and I wanted to take advantage of summer in Europe but it seems we’re not lucky. Last year, I was pregnant with my second child so we weren’t able to do much during the summer break. I was feeling dizzy most of the time, I had tummy aches, I couldn’t sleep well at nights but I was still fortunate that I didn’t suffer from hemorrhoids. I’ve heard that some pregnant women had it bad that they have to undergo hemorrhoidal treatment to ease their pain.
Anyway, this last week we have, I am hopeful that we’ll have better days. I only need a few things to complete my list of things to bring for our trip and that’s it. We can still squeeze maybe a day of outing for the family this weekend. I hope…
