a parent's journey...

keep the floor clean

November 1, 2010

When you have a nine month old boy in the house, being extra careful is necessary.  He is fond of crawling, and along the way, he picks up whatever he sees and immediately puts it in his mouth.  We make sure to keep the floor clean but having another child at home who is only three years old sometimes ruins it.  It can’t be avoided that the latter would spill her food on the floor, sometimes she leaves her crayons and other toys within the baby’s reach.

One time I left the two kids in the living room just to prepare food for the little one.  When I came back, I noticed he was already chewing something in his mouth.  It turned out to be a small piece of clay which his sister was playing.

Here goes the crawler!!!

I have to check the floor all the time!  Geeezzz! Or I’ll better call a baby towing service.. like cars have, or those RV towing when they’re in emergency to rescue the baby from all those tiny bits lying on the floor that I fail to see.
