Furnishing a condo doesn’t come cheap! That’s why our unit is almost bare and only has the essentials inside. It still lacks decors, a carpet or two, paintings, side table…
I wish there’s an online shop where one can buy second hand furniture just like what Prague has. I am a member of the Czech expatriates’ community and have seen many members sell their stuff for cheap prices, especially when they relocate.
One time, somebody posted an ad selling a modern coffee table for less than five hundred pesos. Not only do they sell furniture but also other important things for the home like cookware, utensils, children’s stuff, books, electronics and a whole lot more! Beat that!
Maybe if I ask from friends, they might know of a place where we can buy affordable home furniture and furnishings in Manila. Anyway, for now our condo will be like that - simple and spacious.
