Even before we had kids, I told hubby I want us to have big bed such as a king size platform bed. I was envisioning our future kids to be cuddling and playing with us on weekends in the bed.
True enough, it happened. Now that we have two small kids, its nice to have them with us in the bed. The eldest sleeps with us, and while the baby has his own crib, we let him join us when he wakes up in the morning. He enjoys crawling over us, tapping our faces and grabbing our hair. Our eldest daughter on the hand, enjoys jumping in the bed or hiding under the blanket, making up stories. It’s like a mini-playground, only it is soft. When they’re older, it might turn into a “war” zone hehehe, for their (friendly) pillow fights.
