As Christmas is fast approaching, toy companies have also beefed up their marketing strategies by advertising in children’s tv shows. Naturally, my daughter who loves watching her favorite shows on TV, sees these. She’d tell us, Toys, toys!!” “Caity also, Caity also horse, Caity also princess,” indicating that she also wants to have those toys. Whew!
I am glad though that her pleas end when the commercials end too. She’s not the kind to persuade us with cries or tantrums. Most of the children’s toys nowadays are expensive, I’d rather spend the money on something worthwhile for the whole family such as obx vacation rentals, even a trip to a zoo is okay.
But nonetheless, I’ll get her a toy for Christmas that she’ll enjoy. It doesn’t have to be expensive. I takes little to make her happy anyway.
