Recently, my cousin who is a faculty member of the IT department of a prestigious institution in our capital city back home met an accident. Going to school one morning, while he was riding in a public transport which drove so fast, where the driver lost control of the bus, he got a fractured rib. He stayed in the hospital for many days, but it will still take two months before the brace he’s straight-jacketed into will be taken, the doctor said.
This has made me aware of accidents and their consequences, and the legal repercussions that accompany them.
