Vices are attractive to the young, what with all the advertisements in television, and giant billboards seen everywhere. To deter children, most especially the teenagers, from these vices is a bigger challenge to parents in these present times than even a decade or two ago.

Regarding smoking, though government through its department of health try to water down the enticements of media by its “Smoking is dangerous to health” lines, a campaign for awareness, for the purpose of making people temper their vice, still cigarette/cigar factories are enjoying a big patronage, raking in huge profits. One is even offering cigar sampler specials. So it’s a free and merry world, to each its own (strategies) to capture the market.
