How many of us have to leave our hometown for the university? When I was still in elementary, three of my siblings have to stay in a different city, an island away from us for their college education. They were somewhat blessed to be there together coz from what I’ve heard, being away from the family, friends and the familiar surroundings especially for the first time can make one lonely.
But being enrolled in a big university such as UA, students have plenty of things to do to forget homesickness. During their free time, students can either bake or cook with other students in the campus ( I bet they have an area complete with utensils and equipments for this), have a picnic in the turtle pond or browse the clubs and shops in the UA Mall. There’s also the Student Recreation Area which is equipped complete with ellipticals to racquet ball courts; everything you’ll ever need to keep yourself fit.
What else can a student do in UA? It’s for you to find out from here: http://media.wildcat.arizona.edu/media/storage/paper997/news/2009/08/10/Monsoon/What-To.Do.Before.Classes.Start-3754354.shtml
It’s good to know that there are many short-term courses which job hunters can enroll in order to land a job.
I recently met a Filipina who took a seven-month training course for casino dealers. She was hired immediately after submitting her credentials in one of the Prague casinos. According to her, the casino she’s working at is short of game dealers and are still hiring for more. The salary is good but the downside is that they have to work on a night shift but still it’s better than having no work at all.
If you don’t have the money to get a five-year education, you too can enroll in short-term courses such as medical coding training courses (which I’ve heard pays really well), get a job, save up for your dream course and study again. Or you can just focus on that job and work well. Who knows you will be promoted and become a big boss someday.
How are old professionals dealing with technology and internet? Do they welcome and embrace it with delight or are they intimidated with it? I recalled this incident which happened almost a decade ago when we were giving out training on construction software. One participant who was already in his late 50’s doesn’t even know how to insert the diskette in the drive. It was hard not to be amused but then that was the time when computers weren’t widely popular then.
In this fast-paced world of technology advancement, how can companies with such employees maximize their resources to its full potential? One thing is by giving them the required training which is essential in harnessing their skills. Thus Resource Bridge is offering customized computer based training (CBT) for employees of companies to equip them with necessary knowledge needed to fulfill their work efficiently.
They’ve got an easy and comfortable virtual learning environment wherein participants can learn in an interactive way new computer applications and simulations of new equipment which can be accessed anywhere, anytime and guides users through the processes among others. With such tool, you can be assured that your employees will develop their web skills fast and even without disruption of work.
So don’t be left behind, hire Resource Bridge for the much needed Web based training for your workforce. They also have eLearning products, eLearning solutions, instructor resources, eLearning benefits and eLearning articles. You better check out their website!
The cost of education is getting high. Most parents are finding it all the more harder these days to send their children to schools and universities. But that shouldn’t stop them from providing education to their children. There are actually many ways how they can still afford education costs even if they don’t have enough money. There are scholarships, grants, work-study and loans which can provide for your child’s school needs.
I’ve found an online site called Scholarships.com which provides student guide to financial aid. There parents and students will find access to list of different grants and college scholarship programs including federal financial aid which they can avail of. Their extensive list is regularly updated with lots of articles on scholarships and grants.
So who says that education is expensive? All you need is motivation and patience and you’re child can have education he/she needs.
Bachelor’s degrees require students certain duration of apprenticeships in their chosen field before they can graduate. Students are trained by mentors to develop their skills and later on qualify to work on their profession.
But if students want to further gain more knowledge and skills, they can join apprenticeships in the field of construction conducted by a private company named Construction Skills . Here the students are trained to qualify for National Vocational Qualifications/Scottish Vocational Qualifications, a proof that they truly deserve to work in the industry.
This program Apprenticeships trains even students as young as 14-16. With the Construction Apprenticeship scheme they are given the chance to learn, work, earn and get qualified. Training at early age gives them the edge among their peers especially in this competitive world of construction industry.

So I’ve written about Score’s positive feedback from parents and students in my previous posts. Score has individualized curriculum that caters to each student’s unique academic needs and learning capability. The kids are provided with lots of positive praises that encourages them to do well in their learning. How? Students who do well are rewarded with simple tokens such as refrigerator magnet or Score cards which they can collect and later trade in for prizes. I’m sure kids love games and fun incorporated with their lessons! Score also offers after school or in-home tutoring. Just check out their website if you want to hire their math spelling or reading tutors for your kids. So mommies, head on to the nearest Score Learning Center now!
Very often I encounter kids who detest Math subjects. The sight of numbers makes them cringe. I even know a kid who would cry over this Math homework. For parents, it must be hard to deal with. Coaxing or threatening wouldn’t do the trick. It’s better to hire Math tutors from Score Learning center. Students at Score are definitely satisfied with their unconventional teaching approach that they have high praises for this learning center. Parents of these kids are also very pleased with the results. Other areas where Score can help your kids would be reading, writing, study skills, summer programs and early learning. At an early age of 4, your child can already be enrolled at Score.
For busy parents, tutors are their option to help kids with their school works. But finding an able one isn’t easy. Their approach can sometimes make kids lose interest in studying. Where to find innovative tutors? Score Learning Center is known for its creative academic approach which their students and parents alike are raving about. They take an active, hands-on approach to tutoring which is designed to help kids learn at the same time enjoy the process.
If you’re wondering how to make this summer season a special one for you child, enroll him in one of Score’s summer camps. This is actually a great way for kids to spend their vacation without wasting their valuable time on useless activities because in this kind of summer camp the kids get to learn about academics while still having fun.
Score Learning Center has developed a unique learning program wherein kids are able to develop their skills (in writing, math, language arts or science) throughout the summer. Take for example if your child has the inclination to writing, let him join the writing camp so he can improve and practice his writing skills. You don’t have to worry with your child getting bored because all the programs are incorporated with fun activities guaranteed to make your child enjoy his camp experience.
Parents know that summer is one of the favorite seasons of kids (aside from Christmas of course). This is the time when kids take a break from their little load of school work. Even before the break, they are already excitedly imagining the long hours of play time with friends or vacation with their family to exciting places.
But wait… Mom and Dad have other plans. They want their little child to be more mentally-equipped the next school opening so they signed him up for a special summer program at Score. Fortunately not all academic-related programs are dull. Score Learning centers are known for their innovative and fun method of teaching kids. Not only does the child get loads of fun, he is also wisely spending his summer vacation learning new knowledge and actually enjoying it!
As Score says, ‘When children love to learn, they’ll learn’.
As early as now I’m contemplating on my future’s child education. I want to provide the best education she can have (so cliché I know!). I’ve heard about the good benefits of homeschooling, and then here’s another educational experience that seems to be getting positive reviews from parents. It’s the Score Learning Center where kids ages 4 to 14 are exposed to an innovative tutoring environment. Kids can improve their skills in numbers with Math tutors or improve their skills in reading, spelling and writing. Their programs are designed to help children succeed while they enjoy the learning experience. I’m on for fun educational method of teaching. This way the kids don’t get bored and would love to learn new knowledge. I actually watched their video to see their approach on teaching and I liked it. It was an informal set-up wherein kids were communicating with their teachers animatedly, not the usual stiff and boring classroom environment. No wonder Score parents and kids have been raving over their Score experience.
